Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

MyBPlan (mybplan.io) is operated by Akrinum OÜ, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia (“we”, “us”). We are the controller for the limited personal data described below. Contact: support@akrinum.com.

2. Information you enter into the calculator

The Client Loss & Income Runway Calculator processes the figures you type in — such as cash reserves, expenses, client names and income amounts — entirely in your browser. These values are not sent to our servers or to any third party, and we cannot see them. If you allow analytics, only the limited usage information described in section 4 is sent to Google.

• Exports (PDF via your browser's print function, and JSON downloads) are created on your device.
• Imports of JSON files are read in your browser and are not uploaded.
• We do not place financial values in page addresses (URLs).

3. Browser storage

We use your browser's local storage, which stays on your device, for two purposes:

• Saved calculator inputs — if “Remember my numbers in this browser” is switched on, your inputs are saved locally so they're still there when you return. This option is off by default; until you switch it on, your numbers are kept only in memory for the open page. Untick the option or press “Clear saved data” in the calculator to delete them. Clearing your browser's site data also removes them.
• Your cookie choice — whether you allowed or declined analytics, so we don't ask again on every page.

Local storage is not sent to us with your requests.

4. Analytics and cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how many people visit the site and which pages and features are useful. Google Analytics is not loaded at all until you click “Allow analytics”. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

When enabled, Google Analytics may collect:

• pages viewed, referring website, and approximate time spent;
• device, browser and operating-system type, and approximate location derived from your IP address;
• standard interactions that Google Analytics can record automatically, such as scrolling, clicks on links to other websites, and starting or submitting a form — without the values you type;
• a small number of tool events — tool_started, scenario_completed, scenario_compared and report_exported — which contain only non-identifying context such as the projection length (12 or 24 months), the number of income sources or the export format. They never contain amounts, client names or descriptions.

Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_<ID>. Our analytics configuration turns off Google signals and ad-personalisation signals. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area; Google states that it relies on appropriate safeguards for such transfers. Retention follows the data-retention setting of our Google Analytics property.

The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can change your choice at any time: use “Cookie settings” in the footer. If you withdraw consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies set on this site and reload the page without analytics.

5. Hosting

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. When you request a page, your browser necessarily sends technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the requested URL. Netlify processes this to deliver the site and protect it against abuse, which may include short-term server logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Fonts are served from our own domain; we do not load fonts from Google or other third-party font services.

6. Email

If you email us, we use your email address and message to reply. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations. Please don't send us your financial details — we don't need them.

7. What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent personal data.
• We don't use advertising trackers or marketing pixels.
• We don't use your inputs to train AI models or send them to AI services.
• We don't create user profiles or require an account.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because calculator data never reaches us, you control it directly in your browser. To exercise your rights, email support@akrinum.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Estonia, this is the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data — for example, by adding a new service — we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
